Day 14 Oct 10 - Lisbon

Today was a free day in Lisbon. After a good morning breakfast we set out to have a look at Avenida da Liberdade and it's high end shops and interesting architecture. This is considered the 35th most expensive avenue in the world and is home to many high end brands such as Gucci, Prada and Fly London where more sensible footwear was purchased after some delicate balancing on some interesting shoe choices. After a few more stops along the way so the lady's could do some shopping.we stopped for lunch. After lunch we wandered the neighborhood around our apartment stopping in to have a look at the interesting small stores. A few bottles of port wine were purchased as a souvenir of our time in mainland Portugal.

Supper was at a very nice local restaurant called Sacremento which was recommended by Filipe. Can't go wrong with a Filipe recommendation - the man knows his food!
